Bus from Airport to Westin Gaslamp Hotel, Route # 922: Use San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System (www.sdmts.com) for $2.25 (exact fare required) from the airport to the hotel as your cheapest and greenest way to arrive. Route #992 takes 15 minutes and leaves from in front of the airport every 13 minutes. Tell your driver your destination is the Westin Gaslamp Hotel at Horton Plaza. Once you exit the bus on Broadway Avenue, the hotel is on that same side.

You can plan a trip anywhere in San Diego when you use the Online Transit Information System.

Hotel Parking: The Westin Gaslamp Quarter is located in beautiful downtown San Diego. Unfortunately, parking will be at a premium with hotel valet parking at $32 per night. The Westin is within walking distance of many popular visitor sites. Public transportation is also readily available to locations like the  San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld and our beaches. Because of this, we invite you to utilize public transportation during the AAZK conference and avoid the need to rent a car or purchase hotel parking.

Affordable Parking during the conference: We are working with Ace Parking to give you the best parking rates during the conference. As part of our effort to be green, SD AAZK will be offering 4 day public transportation passes to all delegates. We hope this will minimize your need for a car.
If you will still need a car and therefore a place to park, Ace Parking is offering AAZK Conference attendees the following parking option:
$10/day overnight parking WITH in and out access. This will be available at Horton Plaza parking structure located next door to our hotel. How to do: you will be required to register your car at the Ace Parking office located in the parking structure on level 3 “Pepper” which is on 4th and F street. ID yourself as guests of the San Diego Zoo. Tell them how many days you will be staying and the attendant will give you a permit to display on your dash. You will be instructed to park in one of their flat surface lots. Overflow parking will be available if needed.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Trolley Service: The San Diego Trolley does not stop at the Airport. However, it does reach many neighborhoods and areas with popular attractions and landmarks, such as Old Town, Mission Valley and Fashion Valley. Rider Information is available to help you use the trolley with ease and comfort.
